We have an ever expanding collection of carefully researched outfits, all recreated by us using appropriate materials and techniques. Each garment is thoroughly researched and, where possible, based on first hand sources such as paintings, bills of sale and original garments.
Attention to detail is very important to us and you will find no zips or Velcro in our outfits, just hooks, buttons, ties and pins just as they would have been worn originally. Our outfits are not ‘fancy dress’ but unique ‘modern originals'.
Where possible our outfits are complete from the first piece of underwear through to the final accessories. We aim to cover all periods of British history from the Anglo Saxons to the 1940’s and beyond and also include some imagined history such as the Pre-Raphaelites.
We can cater for children’s costume hire, themed weddings, educational resources for museums or one off outfits for special occasions.
We supply outfits to the whole of the mainland UK by post and courier.
